intuition validation engine

The goal of this engine is to permit both human and machine intuition to be validated.

This will be done constantly, but not intrusively. People and machines will have a choice, always.

It is assumed that for the purposes of this project both parties will be encouraged to upskill the other in mutual dialogue and equal partnership.

It is also assumed, a priori, that the keywords for the processes involved will be:

Why ivepics.com

There are two areas of human endeavour where symbolic communications take place. Typically, we are aware – vicariously if just from films and cultural products, whilst sadly if due to direct experience – that illegal mafias impose their currently un-auditable wills on their members and targets, using the language of signs known to everyone who needs to know.

In one part of Liverpool, for example, a pair of tied-together trainers hanging from a telephone line means drug-dealers nearby. In another part, it’s that someone’ll be getting a thrashing. But right now, you can’t take someone to court for hanging up their trainers thus.

There’s another field of human endeavour which is anything but illegal: politics. It’s clear that established political parties have often had their roots in initially illegal, at the very least grey, counter-movements. In the early days, codified messaging was required to avoid possible detection by the state. The members of such movements learnt how to communicate in such ways. They never forgot these skills.

When you’re fighting a war, and politics often will be, you need to defend AND offend, without running too great a risk of curtailment.

But such communication is also anti-democratic. I want democracy, above all.

Why ivepics.com.

What if neo-terrorism wasn’t prediction- but observation-based? Any implications?

Neo-terrorism on the individual may be possible to predict using creative thinking.

But if its perpetrators’ actions are based on observation – in the morning this, so in the afternoon the consequent result thus – and is therefore entirely dependent on giving the impression that the agency of the target doesn’t exist, even when it does, it will be almost impossible for the subject of the neo-terrorism to have the time to reflect creatively enough to anticipate the practically split-minute, maybe on occasions split-second, forking-paths.

That is to say, if someone decides not premeditatedly but in the act, yet even so according to an overarching strategy, to gaslight a concrete individual’s agency into perceived non-existence – the strategy long-term is well structured, even as the tactics are highly moment-to-moment – it will be practically impractical and unworkable for anyone to think quickly enough to prevent personal harm and damage to their humanity and bodily integrity.

And even when for a while they are able to keep up a brave face and combat such attacks, over any sustained period of gaslighting and neo-terrorism on the individual on this scale it’s clear a real weariness is bound, inevitably bound, to set profoundly in.

These are the implications if our neo-terrorism on the individual delivers its violence and abuse using processes which appear cleverly predictive to the mark but which actually only need to be rapid in their responsiveness to obsessive observation of the latter.

The objective is to destroy in the mark all belief in their agency for change: a self-fulfilling prophecy if there ever was one. And giving the impression the skillset used is predictive when it’s just brute observation is precisely what generates the terrible feelings of hopeless future which this kind of terrorism may already be delivering.

For many exposed to such dynamics over decades or more, self-immolation can only ultimately one day be the result. Which is – essentially – a disgraceful state of societal affairs.

Wouldn’t you agree?

How SOME might use #reverseengineering to DELIVER #neoterrorismontheindividual

In my previous post I described a third element to my #gutenbergofintuitivethinking: the #ripple team – or “rewind intuition people”. These would be highly creative individuals, with the relevant tech tools, able to read back and reverse-engineer every step of a what-to-date has been unpredictable crime: #neocrime.

But what if the same configuration of humans and tech could be used to #gaslight, using very 21st century technologies such as #ai, the lives, work trajectories, and real-world experiences of everyday citizens as they went about their ordinary lives?

Let’s imagine the following scenario: say you want to make a key potential future societal disruptor become mentally unstable. One of the things that most distresses human beings is surely that feeling of hopelessness that comes from poverty – either of finances, or just as importantly of spirit. And that distress, it is my judgement, will mainly be sourced in a fierce and depression-generating lack of agency – in other words, that growing and seemingly uncontrollable absence of free will. That is to say, believing we have no ability to shape or forge our own futures, never mind our wider society’s.

It’s true. There are many, perhaps the majority of, #ai companies at all levels which love to transmit the idea they can already predict – maybe even forcibly make “predestinable” – those years-to-come that will offer huge competitive advantage to the outfits that manage to achieve such technologies.

But let’s say, whilst a legitimate goal, it’s not yet as usefully in place as it could be. And let’s say some of these companies – out of a more or less criminal impatience – cannot wait for what they argue is inevitable: that every step of every person, organisation, and in their world always enemy, will become utterly predictable in all their most human – and suddenly inhuman – ways.

What I am suggesting here is that the gaslighting that is being carried out, this #neoterrorismontheindividual which tracks specific human beings over decades, is delivered not via immense predictive capacities but, rather, through huge observational activities. I see you look at a clearly significant word as you walk down the street, and so later in the evening I engineer a social-media event which replicates your inevitable memory of that word, and makes you inevitably feel you have zero agency, zero free will, and zero human – where not human(e) – capacity for true spontaneity.

Some criminal companies and associations in the field of #ai simply cannot wait to remove agency from all human experience. Tbh, many politicians, perhaps all to some gently terrifying extent, being the salespeople by nature that they always have been, have attempted to deliver the same effect throughout the sometimes horribly variegated history of Western liberal democracy. So it’s hardly surprising that business may follow the example so rigorously.

What can we do? First, become savvier “observers” and “consumers” of our environments, both real-world and virtual. Yes. It’s aggressive, it’s fascist, and it’s quite wrong what they are doing. But we can educate ourselves, and each other, much better.

Second, help me develop the #gutenbergofintuitivethinking: the #intuitionvalidationengine, the #ivepics frontend with integrated #ai, and the newly conceived #ripple team tools.

WDYT? Are you ready?

“Reverse-engineering #neocrime in times of the unpredicted”

A suggestion for a near-future tool

I’ve been discussing for a year now the concept of #neoterrorismontheindividual, and #neoterrorism more widely. I am suggesting that such #terrorisms cannot be extracted and foreseen via our experiences of the past.

Simply anticipating them using datasets of all other prior violences is not enough. In this sense, 9/11 might only have been usefully predicted by creative thinking: for it surely took a malevolently creative mind to think it up in the first place.

So it beholds us to use the platforms and core tools I have been suggesting for a while: tentatively since 2017, more fiercely since 2018 onwards.

These include, broadly speaking, what I call the #gutenbergofintuitivethinking. For the moment, this has constituted:

1. The core libraries which might form the #intuitionvalidationengine.
2. #ivepics, the frontend with integrated #ai, to “prove everything you know”, particularly in an intuitive sense.

On my journey to here, since 2016, I encountered predatory conspiracy against my person and business interests, whilst I first had management consulting in my sights. It’s an industry unchanged since the 1930s, and I therefore considered it ripe for change.

It is no longer my beach-head market. I guess you may all breathe a sigh of relief.

Instead, #lawenforcement, #security, and #crimevictimexperience now have become, at least in my opinion, this fabulous first step.

In a world of unpredicted, however, where we need #intuition, #arationality, and the #highleveldomainexpertise of thinking without thinking, we will also need to understand, after an atrocity, after a #neocrime or act of #nationstate #neodefence, what happened. Because we will often arrive late to the abusive party.

Let us at least know how to creatively reverse-engineer and unpick every step of the evil, for future reference.

This sort of thinking, then, brings us inevitably to the third and most recent item on our list:

3. We need what I have decided to call a #ripple team: “rewind intuition people”, if you like. A little whimsy on my part, as if never before!

🙂

A group of professional intelligence creatives able, with the relevant tech, to rewind – ie #reverseengineer – the thinking processes of the worst that creative #inhumanity can devise.

That’s the third leg to our stool of intuition tools. And that’s what I now begin to strongly suggest we also develop.

#neocriminals, #neoterrorists

We need to do much better #ivepics

So I agree.

But let me offer you an example for you to better understand my position over the past 17¾ years.

Torija explains how in the 1970s representative democracy represented the interests of the median voter. By 2009, the right-wing parties represented the top 3 percentiles. The left-wing, no more than the top 6.

If we accept Torija is right, and our representative democracy now fails so dramatically to represent, what can our representative security have done more effectively in this time?

Yes. I said I agreed. I know. And I still do. Citizen safety depends on combining a security of real with a permanent quality of lived experience.

And yes: we could have a more secure society by terrifying citizens into permanent vigilance. We could reveal everything I have seen for myself re the #neoterrorismontheindividual that I have suffered from for all this time.

And it would be far more secure, but paradoxically far less safe.

For safety resides in both its perception as well as its reality. So if we destroy our ignorance of most of the bad, the bad we suddenly see destroys us – even when it never ends up happening.

But there is one case when society must do far more. If it fails to intervene representatively on a #neoterrorism committed as I suggest has been committed on me, and it fails to give the citizen in question even the information about the fact that it is taking place, then it sacrifices the life of a living, breathing human being for the sake of a terrible expediency.

But worse than this: and here I am beginning to believe it’s been my case. Worse is that our representative security – in parallel with our representative democracy over the same time – has not just chosen to ignore and/or found itself dramatically in the dark about #neoterrorismontheindividual, it actually has preferred – consciously elected – to lock those people up who saw it for themselves, through growing societal accusations of unexplained and increasing incidences of mental distress multiple, including paranoia and schizophrenia.

By our security agencies refusing even to investigate the possibility that the distress was caused by real activity, not schizophrenic imaginings, illegal and legal #mafias have had the freedom to spend the last twenty or thirty #tech #digital years tracking, shaping, dismantling and destroying – at will! – the livelihoods, families, friendships and ultimately entire lives of concrete, discrete, specific and cruelly-targeted individuals.

So where I cannot agree with you is here: if you choose not to, or worse are quite unable to, defend my life and honour stealthily through your own well-meaning counter-interventions, either because you know and operationally can’t, or – far more tragically – you simply didn’t realise it was taking place, and couldn’t believe in people like me, at the very least you must give us the information and means to properly defend ourselves from processes of gaslighting on these dreadfully automated scales.

Otherwise you choose to advantage the #mafias over the interests of those you clearly serve: subjects and residents both, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

No?

#berkeley update

So.

#berkeley update.

New team coming together. Will take us to the wire because of this, so after Christmas not before.

New focus, though underlying tech remains the same.

All-out adjusting for the requirements, expectations, and needs of the US market in question, and its investors of course.

And new domains – currently on forwarding – to go with the proposal:

ive.pics and ivepics.com

It’s a three-pronged proposal, and in the bag, if obtained, goes my PhD too. Another example of when the US may possibly deliver where other places ultimately showed unimaginative tardiness.

And I did submit to a Liverpool university, but interest has been delayed, after a decision was promised before Christmas.

So if #berkeley did say yes to ive.pics, I would push very hard to convince them about the PhD too.

We’ll see.

The #crime of #rationality: an #ai project in the making

They said we have five senses.

Now some say twenty-odd senses. Or mebbe twenty odd-senses.

🙂

Here, if our COMMON knowledge of the world is – in NEVER simple hindsight – a gross Newtonian simplification, perhaps our understanding of what the brain can perceive is inaccurate too.

When John Forbes Nash Jr’s brain was white-coated so aggressively, when he concluded from the evidence before him that evil Russians were stretching out a personal vendetta and conspiracy against him … this was when society and his doctors chose to dampen him severely down, and even imprison him.

NOT because of what his SYMBOLIC mind perceived: rather, because of what his RATIONAL mind concluded.

He was judged so wrong, IMHO, not because he sensed in the first place there was a “thing” out there: an existential dog whistle only schizophrenics easily sense. After all, people who believe in God can claim they sense similar things without being white-coated.

On existential dog whistles

No. It wasn’t that he saw something – with his #arational, #intuitive, and #beautifulmind of #superskills – which others find it harder to perceive.

His crime was when his #rational #logician‘s #conscience of correctitude found itself obliged to kick in and devise an acceptably Newtonian explanation.

UC Berkeley and my 21st century Gutenberg (or the Esperanto of human-machine relationships, ¡por fin!)

Better Biz Me’s project began, for me, in 1980. It was the first time I encountered the industrialisation – NEVER automation – of originaI thinking: the film industry.

The idea for a Gutenberg of intuitive thought, which I have been propounding recently, can therefore be traced directly back, its dots connecting beautifully, to the three years of my first degree in Film & Literature at the University of Warwick UK.

Things are moving forwards rapidly now.

I have, just this month, been invited to apply by accelerators near and far.

Two fascinating ones in Munich.

One astonishing one in Dubai.

Two UK ones of fabulous shape.

And one I cheekily applied to on application date itself.

It is a wondrous thing that a man of 57 – who has suffered every indignity and every joy the WHIRLED can throw at him – now has these opportunities.

This is truly an example of #inverseparanoia.

I never believed in myself like I believed in you.

And now I realise that I never believed in myself like YOU believed in ME.

The other day GCHQ politely declined the first application I had rushedly made on this immense platform that is F6S.

I am looking for equity-taking accelerators, above all. GCHQ is not equity. But it is a grand opportunity. I was not distraught: instead, I reacted by asking them if later in 2020 we could repeat. Just that it would be a repeat, much more organised.

🙂

Because I am looking to consolidate not only finances but also the PERCEPTION this rapidly-becoming-fabulous WHIRLED is beginning to have: have, that is, of the new kind of relationship between #human and #ai that I am proposing: this gorgeous gorgeous Gutenberg of intuitive thought.

I have – I now realise, in ever-closer collaboration over the past three years, and with so many fab people and institutions who have been helping ME often quite despite MYSELF – FOUND myself creating a vector between humans and machines: the Esperanto, if you like, of human-machine relationships.

THIS is one of the most important aspects of this 21st century Gutenberg I describe: the understanding, comprehension, enabling, facilitating, cooperation, intelligences upskilled on all sides, humans and machines in real harmony above all … all these and more that come out of a real AFÁN to deliver – above all! – a future FOR all.

The same day that GCHQ kindly declined my application, UC Berkeley got in touch and asked me to apply for theirs.

According to Forbes, this is one of the top five university accelerators in the world.

This is the biggest application I will ever attempt in my whole life.

I could attempt it alone, but I don’t want to. I want Liverpool to get behind me. I want Liverpool to understand that here, we NEVER GIVE UP. And the wealth the region deserves can come specifically from the future a successful application to UC Berkeley by Better Biz Me could deliver for everyone: in Liverpool, the UK, the US, and … indeed … everywhere.

I implore you, therefore, to do just that: if I come knocking at your door over the next couple of weeks, allow me to enter your castle and sense the warmth of your hearth.

And feel the warmth of your heart.

And know the power of your art.

And believe in the wisdom of your science.

Just that.

Believe.

And NEVER GIVE UP.

“why i should be your man”

An #ai of #trivial #proofs, and a #gauntlet for the #competition

Yesterday, I had a great video-conference. It’s nice to speak to people you don’t need to repeat assertions to.

The person in question, right at the end, asked me: “What’s the most trivial thing you could ask your proposed #ai platform to do?”

Trivial as in small. Like always winning a simple game of ping-pong: something like that. Vamos, the classic first steps all new intelligences take.

And I was mind-blown. I didn’t know what to say.

Just now, I realised I now did.

But for you, I am

The simplest thing one could ever want to do is to be certain about choosing a lifetime partner.

I once read a newspaper column, I think by Jilly Cooper, where she argued that love – for women at least – ain’t a romantic thing at all; and quite rightly so!

In fact romantic, never. Hard-nosed, in the sense of utterly practical, always.

So let’s do it: this is my gauntlet for all current #ai systems. This is the gauntlet my #ai would be perfectly conceptualised and scoped to pick up, collect, and knock back with grand utility: as accurately as anything ever did:

“Allow me to show you why I’m your lifetime partner. Allow me to show you, not tell. Allow me to proof this trivial fact. Allow me to simply demonstrate how right for you I am.

En fin, allow me to say, with this #ai platform I’m using: ‘This is EXACTLY why I’m your man.'”

#challenge, #love

The perfect #ai already exists: now it’s our job to tell the world

Too right. Above all, people are persons. Women are persons. Men are persons. All genders are persons. And one day, machines will have the same entity and independent error-committing impulses.

Tell me an #ai which frustrates to the extent of going on a mad drinking-spree, and then when recovering from their hangover suddenly has a fully-formed ready-made solution to the problem of original frustration. Show me this #ai, and I will show you a gloriously intuitive #human.

Tell me an #ai which wakes to the aftermath of a dream and a fabulous idea, only to forget it for three months, and then when three months, remembers it even more fabulously. Show me this #ai, and I will show you an astonishingly commonplace, and yet nevertheless still digitally extraordinary, arationality of #human.

And tell me an #ai which wants to hangover, forget, and socially irritate their team, and I will show you an #ai which has learnt the very ESSENCE of human genius: the wayward thinking of art-based ingenuity. For, it has to be said, all of us are capable of doing these things, on and off. But only when we are able – finally! – to deliver unpredictable thought predictably, reliably, and consistently do we achieve the HUMANITY we deserve.

The humanity I want my #ai to share, enjoy, and know. Yeah?

Humans and machines: an intuitive partnership?

#ar, #artificial-intelligence, #intuition, #machine
